Gentlemen Please

Today more than ever we are pushing against a tsunami of casual, comfortable averageness.  Sartorial elegance has been in a gradual decline since the 1960s. The pandemic has hammered the final nail into the closet of the classically tailored man.

Thomas Fortin reflects longingly on the time in the early 20th Century when every occasion was an occasion worth dressing for. We champion the dapper days of yesteryear and hope to gently nudge men away from the lazy, dress-down athleisure culture. We're asking you to dress to impress - impress the world, impress yourself, just make an memorable impression! We all deserve that fulfilling pleasure of wowing the crowds with impeccable premier night outfits, so turn more days into red-carpet days! To that end we say -  join the stand out crowd, indulge your inner dapper and live every day like your the leading man in your own story.

If you'd like to join this dapper cause and stay informed about the worlds best-dressed men, swanky joints in town, new product launches and inspiration on how to improve  your own wardrobe details,  please click the Thomas Fortin news button below.

THOMAS FORTIN

THE BEGINNINGS...

Thomas Fortin Menswear was born from an unrealised concept which until the events of 2020 remained just a dream.

Co-founders Andy Thomas and Neil Fortin had spoken for years of turning their passion into a venture of their own. When everything stopped in March of 2020 the stillness afforded them the time to develop their ideas. Believing that the devil is in the detail they set their minds to producing the best quality mens accessories produced by the best weavers, printers, and makers that the U.K. and it's esteemed tradition in classic menswear, has to offer.

Thomas Fortin now offers imaginative custom designs on hand-finished accessories, silk ties, opera scarves, trouser braces, and pocket squares,  crafted from beautiful fabrics woven, printed and produced in England.

Our beautifully crafted products are made from 100% silk which is woven, printed and worked in to high quality ties, pocket squares and scarves.

All our men's accessories are made in the U.K by weavers, printers and tie makers that have a history with silks and fabrics going back hundreds of years.

In-house designs are inspired by early 20th Century fashion plates and accessories from a time when the dapper man reigned supreme!

Some of our designs are unique to Thomas Fortin and some are chosen from a extensive library of historical pattern archives. We then recolour these designs in a modern palette to give our clients the sense of a bygone era with an updated freshness.
